Greetings
For my freeriding adventures I procured, 4-5 years ago an Avy BCA Float 35 (or is it a 32, don't remember) which, luckily I never had to deploy and use for any other reason but to transport my stuff (avy gear food, water spare clothes, etc)
It is equipped with the "traditional" air bottle to feed the airbag when needed.
Lately I'm seeing that BCA is offering Avy back packs equipped with the Alpride electrically operated air bag...
Has anyone ever upgraded their backpacks form air/gas bottles to electric blower?
Is that possible? Worth?
Or it is less complicated to purchase a brand new whole unit?
Is the battery/electric blower mature (eg effective and reliable) enough now?
Is there really an advantage (possibilities of multiple inflations of the airbag in the same session, which per se would be a decision maker, if I had to buy now an Avy backpack for the first time)?
Additional internal volume gain/loss?
Weight wise?

No, each airbag system of inflation and airbag is unique and can not be fitted to a different backpack.
