Jacqueline Wiles is our next best female downhiller, currently ranked 29th in the DH standings. Then Shiffrin (and I would guess she won't even race the downhill). Without Breezy, US chances in that race are pretty bleak.

In both tech events, it's Shiffrin, followed by Moltzan and O'Brien, in that order. Shiffrin is also a serious contender in Super G, assuming she races it.

Expect Shiffrin to be a factor in every race she enters, but the hopes for the rest of the women's team are not particularly high. Perhaps a couple dark horse medal threats in the tech events, but really US hopes are riding on Shiffrin.

On the men's side, Bryce Bennett is our best downhiller, just barely cracking the top 10. Ganong and RCS are the next two in downhill, just behind Bennett. And those two are both are decent Super G skiers as well. River Radmus has demonstrated serious potential in GS, but hasn't quite managed to put two clean runs together in one race. Tommy Ford hasn't raced World Cup in over a year but did seem to be hitting his stride before he got hurt. Still, unlikely to be a factor during the games. The only American even in the top 30 in SL is Luke Winters. Bennett and Radmus, maybe Ganong, are probably the US men's best hopes to medal, but all are dark horses at best.
