Knew when I saw 452 photos they had just paid a LOT of money to have it detailed!! Zoomed in on a pic so you can see the texture of it.

Surprised(but not surprised) at how many multi-million dollars cars showing up lately online with huge interest.
This one only 2 hours away from me if someone wants me to test drive it for them:wave:

Those were a very fun car in the day. Mine was black, Alaska was a bit rough on it (or I was).

I am going to get greedy and bid at the last minute to try to steal the car. Hope it doesn't blow up in my face. Its cheaper than I imagined. Never mind it went nuts to 23k. As soon as it hit 18k I was a watcher.

Bid up a tiny bit more, to $3,525,000. Reserve was not met. No sale.
Probably not a great day to end a BaT auction on this car, with the action going on at the Monterey, CA Car Week. Pebble Beach Concours, etc.

Check the Mecum Auction site; I for one love BaT, but a LOT of big egos in CA wanting to be seen buying and selling….and a lot with knowledgable advisors in tow. I know people hoping to buy, hoping to sell, and being paid to be there. Sotheby’s also will be running their auctions, as will Gooding. And a lot of private deals will be made.

So maybe the seller WILL get a higher price. Maybe the high bidder goes higher?
Was not a terribly exciting BaT finish.

This could be a crazy year in CA, with some very high prices. Records. $10Mil plus stuff.
