Late model ones - yes. They were pretty common in Boston/Cambridge in the 80’s . I feel they were underrated , mostly due to their idiosyncrasies ( typical in french cars)
and a shortage of people who knew how to work on them.
I never drove one but I rode in several. Including getting pulled over on the Taconic parkway at 90 plus mph by a state trooper standing right in the middle of the road. Ah, youth….

ETA: A friend from HS has a company that provides cars for movies, photo shoots, etc. He has a bunch of cool cars and a few oddballs. He has a particular affinity for old Mopar police cars and even made a replica Bluesmobile.
