New BMW 3-series with paper plates with granite countertop paint job
That's took me a second... I thought you meant there were paper plates (like you would eat off of) as part of the paint job!

^There's a "YouTuber done good" story in those. Remember the Grays Garage aerodynamics channel with the really cool electrolytic flow tank models? The guy that did that as a hobby also went on to do the vortex air intake on those Lucids.

Not one but two Panteras. Haven't seen one of those for a while. I also saw a Lucid in the Costco parking lot yesterday. Never saw one of those before. Nice looking, though I don't know which model.

@Philpug and I saw a Lucid a few weeks ago at Costco. Maybe the same one?

I went to look at a job and the guy had a beautifully restored Pantera. He had done a bit of performance work on the motor as well. Unfortunately it’s just sitting in his garage with no plates so I couldn’t get a ride.

Spotted in the boonies today, near Abiquiu. Saw another one in Taos a couple hours later. Bunch of freaks in NM :)

I knew it wasn‘t a Sunbeam, and was a Datsun, but had to go look it up.
My cousin had a Datsun 2000, he let me drive it once when I was about 15. What a fun ride, lucky to be alive!

Some time around the late '80's or early '90's I pulled up at a stop light next to an early 70's vintage Supermodified. It had a license plate on the back, tail lights and headlights and mufflers hanging off the headers, I figured I'd probably seen the same car race at Englewood Speedway back in the day.

2014 sitting in a little restaurant in Duchesne, Utah at the intersection of US 40 and State highway 87 (the middle of nowhere). Just having a nondescript mexican lunch, and down 87 comes one of these up to the stop sign. That was very impressive but it was being followed by 7 of its twins. Did not have any idea that Utah had that many Ford GT's. That was a memorable lunch.

Heck of a Navigator RV rig near Kansas City on I70 today! Didn't catch what state he was from. Towing a trike, motorcycle and full size pickup!

A couple years ago I posted this picture of my (then) Guzzi. Only one guy noticed...

And no, I don't own the Guzzi anymore. It was just a fling, didn't mean anything. A slight dalliance as it were.
