How many points are those dogs? :D
I don't even want to count ;) Needless to say, I am steering away from them...as much as I like them there are quite a few other things I would be willing to spend double digit points on.

No need to change. I am in that old dog new trick stage too.
Looks like I'll probably make it to my grave in my current state. Short, fat and old. :D

I was at the pre-season meet up in NYC and I don't remember you as fat.

I received my Built Bars today. I've been referring to them as "Bliss Bars" and I hope that will turn out to be true.

I need some Bliss as I have been stuck at -15 lb for the last week.

The stats are impressive compared to my current Atkins bars.

They came very well packaged with bubble wrap and gel packs, but were traveling for 2 days from SLC and are a bit warm. They are presently cooling off in the refrigerator.

I will update this with a report about taste and consistency after I have tried a couple of flavors. Stay tuned...

Sounds good, I hope you know what you are doing when you forage mushrooms, a mistake can be deadly.

Yes, and thanks for checking in with that. With over 10,000 different mushrooms in the world, it's important to at least know your knowledge limitations. When in doubt, throw it out is the motto of any mycophagists.

Happy New Year, Uncle-A :beercheer:

New Year Eve dinner. Duck breast with basalmic cherry reduction with broccoli and potatoes that were finished in the duck fat. Add a nice Pinot Noir and it was a very good dinner.

Happy New Year everyone!

Today I spent the afternoon in Hoboken, NJ at the annual Mutzfest celebrating the best of all cheeses. Just a few pictures to get your mouth watering. IMG_20200126_163013.jpg IMG_20200126_162917.jpg

I love the scrumptious regional delicacies. Wild blueberries are in season here. Tablespoon for scale. About a quarter the size and four times the flavor of cultivated berries.
