It'll be interesting to see where this ends up - they appear to be building something special.

They appear to be building something but remember the SkiTalk market is not the market and they don't have a full range offering, brand awareness in the more casual skier market, rental fleets etc yet.

Next person they should hire is a graphic designer!

And a warehouse manager - I’ve been waiting for my 98s to ship for weeks now…

Much depends on when one jumped into the wave. We got ours in 10 days. Order to door.

Beautiful packaging. Only nit is they should hire someone with better penmanship to address the envelope inside. But hey, at least the the second graders are staying out of trouble and got work after school.

What date did you order yours? I'm trying to figure out how far down the queue I am.

At least they are learning what happens when you have a time limited firesale and might be able to plan better for fulfilment in the future. If any full price orders happened to land during the period you hope they got priority.

I ordered my 178cm 98s on Jan 18th (single pair, did not do BUY1GET1). Just got an update email yesterday (Jan 31st), partially copied below:

“With the huge influx of orders that came through during our promotional period, our warehouse team is a bit behind schedule. Consequently, please allow for 7-10 days for fulfillment and another 5-7 days for shipping. Peak has a rigorous quality control process in place. What does quality control mean? Well, we have ski specialists inspect every aspect of your new sticks. This process takes time, but we believe it is required and necessary in delivering you the highest quality product. Through hiring extra help and working late nights + weekends at our Bozeman headquarters, we are making good progress and should be getting your skis to you very soon.”

I hope they ship before the season ends! ‍
