"Girl From The North Country" was written by Bob Dylan and first appeared as a solo on Bob's 1963 albumThe Freewheelin' Bob Dylan. The duet version of the song with Johnny Cash recorded in 1969 is better than the album version IMO. This is the best clip of the duet that I can find on the web. Beautiful song.
