My wife and daughter attended the Enrique Iglesias, Ricky Martin and Pitbull concert in Toronto last week, they had a a great time and great seats considering they only bought the tickets 2-1/2hrs before the concert.

As long as we're bouncing high school names.. Branford Marealis moved to Durham when my kid was at Durham School of the Arts (magnet, not private) Branford's kid attended there with my kid and Branford played several gigs with various school bands, choirs, ensembles etc.. It was pretty cool

Growing up in remote northern MN in the 60s/70s, my list cannot compete.

I did, however, see an amazing juxtaposition in how concerts were done in the space of just one year:

1976: ZZ Top: Three guys ripping for over two hours on a three foot high stage with a beige curtain behind them.

1977: Kiss: Three (four?) guys on a huge stage with flames and lazers and drums rising twenty feet into the air.

Both at the Duluth Arena/Auditorium.

A heads up...

The Rolling Stones this week announced their "Stones Hackney Diamonds Tour '24. Obviously tickets will be in highest demand. Locally they will play at the huge Levi Stadium venue. I've seen the Stones several times from the 1970s era. At this web site is a link for getting registered into the online 12pm November 29, 2023 pre-sale queue from a Code to be sent by 10am 11/28/23:

Add madonna to the list.

Went with my 3 sisters to the Boston show at TD Garden Monday night. Holy moly amazing show. Krissy got great seats to the side just a few rows up from the floor.

This article sums it right up. Couldn't have phrased it better myself.

Got to Boston around 4pm. Got in our hotel room. Out for drinks/food at the Tiki bar just around the corner from the harborside inn near fanuel hall. Uber to and from show.

She went on around 1015 and played to bed 1230. Back to hotel, ordered some gravy fries n fruit via uber eats from a local diner.

Slept for a few hours. Woke up and went to breakfast and some Reflexology. Back to NWCT by dinnertime. A whirlwind 24 hour trip.

Another bucket list on the books

Now I just need cher to tour lol.

Probably more rock artists than you think. If you write and record song that becomes a Christmas standard you hit the jackpot.
