We have Wine, Cheese, Comfort Food Threads so why not a Dessert Thread. I must say that I have a sweet tooth so I may have to post several different replies.

Number one post for me is Ice Cream (Rocky Road just one of many I like).

I'm not typically a dessert person however I LOVE a few things.

Tres leches cake is my downfall. Chocolate n nuts is good too. Coffee heath bar ice cream is yummy. Coffee milkshake with crunchies from carvel. Ice cream cake.

Good thread. I'm a sucker for ice-cream.
Now I'm going to have to get an ice-cream emoji.

BTW, I have a theory.
If you're having a bad day, buy an ice cream cone.
I dare you to lick an ice cream cone and not smile or at least have it brighten your day. There is something about putting it in a cone.

Quick & simple - Tillamook Udderly chocolate or White chocolate raspberry Yum.

More time and effort - Crème brûlée, Triple chocolate mousse.

Another dessert I can't pass up are my wife's homemade cookies at Christmas.

A Milky Way eaten with a knife and fork. First take off the sides. Then peel the nougat off the caramel. If you are really good you can even get the caramel off the chocolate top. Extra points if you can keep the top in one piece before finally eating it last. Delicious!

If I'm eating out and have a craving for a dessert, its usually Tiramisu or Creme Brûlée

At home, one of my favorites is home made pie, usually apple, and now that my friend send me a supply of pitted frozen tart cherries, I'll be making some of my home made cherry pie.

Dessert Question

1. I eat Ice Cream with a spoon.
2. I eat Pie with a fork.

But what do you use to eat pie with ice cream on top?

I vote for spoon. What do you vote for?

Yes for both. We do have manner after all.
And when all is said and done, lick the plate.
Live and Learn, Thanks I also have a theory if the slice of pie is big enough you do not need the fork to secure it as the article states.:D
