This will raise the ire & ridicule of the pros.

I am with Tobin. I also have goofy sorta hard to fit feet, not as bad as Tobin's arches but still a challenge.

Tobin is a CSIA examiner, the new generation of master instructors. Has the silly millennial conversational style but a great instructor who should be heard and perfromance clinic-ed with.

Even after working with a master boot fitter I find after 10-15 days I need to do some tweaks.

This is Tobin's guidance (most I agree with & do)-

I do all this kind of stuff to my ski boots, its just normal to me. I suppose I could run back to the bootfitter everytime, but its a long drive and I save his time for the bigger issues (punches, grinding, ect...). I also think as you liners and new foot beds break in (or down) new adjustments are needed, some can be DIY, some not.

The author covers canting but not in any depth. @AmyPJ had a canting epiphany recently and canting has perked my interest.
