a destination trip with a remembrance (pair of skis) is like an old Mastercard commercial.

my spouse still remembers a trip to Colorado where she came back with Volants, her first "real" skis.

I'll claim it was certainly worth the total cost let alone ski cost.

You understand my point exactly. If the “only” way I can demo the skis is to fly to, um, Fernie, and stay for a week then so be it!

All joking aside, since it’s apparently flying right over people’s heads, I’ll just book a day at Squaw in the next couple of weeks.
