Update on the eVent wind worry. Seems fine in some pretty strong gusts this spring at Killington and Breck. Neither was cold, but seemed to do fine blocking the wind.
No rain use so far.
Wouldn’t mind some eVent pants.

I'm a big fan of Strafe gear. My current orange/gray jacket is made of Polartec NeoShell with Polartec Alpha insulation and it performs similarly to @Tony S It really breathes well and it's rarely damp inside even on the warmest days. I liked that particular model so much I bought a second in blue in the next size down in case I ever get around to not being round.

I don’t trust Neoshell in the rain. Got soaked at Stowe at the NEG. Had to put on a thin goretex on underneath.
Now maybe it needed to be washed and dwr’d more, but I didn’t wear it much.

Yeah, I've been lucky and not skied in the rain in years so I don't have data on that.
