Thanks! Yeah, it seems like a spring structure does more than the wax, but I do feel an improvement after applying the yellow wax. I don't need ultimate performance, but want its slickness without the spray-on mess.
Structure indeed important, but it's a combination of that and a proper wax always.

Sure if you want the snow to slide off. Then it doesn’t get in the car or weigh the ski down. Light skis + snow stuck to top = not so light.
A little spray silicone keeps the snow from sticking to your ski tops and boot soles.
