He did, and generously offered it up.

But Great Northern had basically the current version of what I had previously, so I just bought it and quit second-guessing myself.

Plus, I really dislike using other people's stuff, anyhoo.

I might drop the iron on the floor.....

Star irons are very good... Im surprised they have not been mentioned yet.... maybe it is because they are a little harder to find.

For sure. I wrote earlier I have a Holmenkol iron but it's actually a Star - I think they are the same with different branding. I have the older 15mm digital version.
