I almost forgot about t trip since I booked it way back in later spring of 2020 but we’ve spent a long Easter weekend at Anchor Down RV Resort in Dandridge Tennessee. Make no mistake, the place is no rustic campground. The sites are all paved and many have stone fire places. It is one of our absolute favorite places to come. Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg are 30-50 minutes away and the resort sites right on Douglas Lake. The property is impeccably maintained and the service is top notch. They even deliver firewood to your site. I was kind of dreading the trip Thursday but now I don’t want to go home. I look forward to the days when we can travel at will rather than planning vacations around work.
