This may deter a lot of people from planning any travel to Canada (from the Canadian Goverment website):
  • Final determination regarding entry and quarantine is made by a government representative at the port of entry based on the information presented to them at the time of entry into Canada.
I sure as hell wouldn't be planning any trips up North.

On the lines front

At a certain length of line suspend ski school and team/programme line cutting privileges - nothing feels like more a kick in the teeth for a tourist than seeing local kids skip ahead. Line marshall before the lines start extending out the maze. Amazing how many of your customers can't count to 4 or 6 and who don't understand that singles line is not so you can ride double or pick your chairmates.
Back in the day at Buck Hill the race team had their own rope tow. The Freestyle team had their own rope tow.. The ski school had a J-bar that they only ran during lessons sometimes (that jbar was waaaaay back and not even on most trail maps early 70s)..

Now, those rope tows weren't 100% exclusive but there were words exchanged and sometimes pushing and shoving when freedoggers used the race team rope and vice versa.. Ya and other guests used them some too but it was pretty obvious that they were dedicated for team training so not a lot of guests trying to use them during practice..

My advice is do not use COVID as a crutch. Especially when other ski areas in your area are fully staffed. Makes you look kinda…… bad!
