I went to take a few pictures and now I'm worried. My winter Tilley's aren't where I expected.

It's tough finding hats big enough. I also notice my summer Tilley is looking kinda beat.

I had no idea there were winter Tilleys! When I got mine a long time ago they only made one hat. The Tilley hat. That was it.

Okay, just looked at the Tilley site. Guessing they were bought out by someone less single-minded than the original nut jobs, bless their hearts, because it's now like the Crate and Barrel of brimmed outdoor hats.

In middle school DD wore a different hat each day to school. Never a repeat. Then we moved between middle school and high school. No more hats. And too embarrassed to tell any friends about it. Somewhere between attic and basement are a few totes of hats. Vintage hats, cowboy hats, raspberry berets, you name it.

One of my fishing hats with the flap on the back. I have already posted this photo in the fishing thread.

When I took a cruise through the Panama Canal they recommended when out in the sun that a hat was a good idea due to the proximity to the equator. They sold some different types on board the cruise ship, I picked up this one at a very reasonable price, no brand name but it did the job to provide shade.
