NY and VT both offer programs to support grade school aged kids to ski for free. Generally, they require the purchase of a full price ticket. Blackout dates apply.

New York is for 3rd and 4th graders

Vermont is for 5th graders

I seem to recall that other states had similar programs. Post a link if you know of any in your state.

Happy Trails.

I plan on using the Colorado program for my youngest granddaughter this winter. We did it for her sister about 5 years ago.

Pennsylvania did for a number of seasons but I think I heard this program has stopped for the coming season. Not sure.
