Kobau is an easy summit, so grinding the gravel from the valley bottom makes it a fair challenge.

Love this thread. Get a lot of vicarious thrills from it.
Most of my bike rides are on a pretty run of the mill suburban Virginia multi-use path about 4 miles from the White House.

Lots of vegetation in our coastal/sub-tropical climate.
