This video has two tricks that I had not thought of before:

  • Using snowballs to create a tie in point on a tarp (instead of a pebble)
  • using climbing skins to strap the patient to the sled, like giant duc tape

That was very informative, particularly part about how to bind the tips using the shovel.

I have seen that one before.
For quicker and more solid assembly, I am trying out bolts instead of tying.
I got some stainless steel wing bolts and wing nuts.
I will drill holes in my shovel shaft and try that out, see if that works better, or if shovel blade works better.
