Just put the pumpkin pies in the oven, cherry pie is out of the oven.
Thanks to all who ganged up on me.

Bumping this thread, Happy Thanksgiving to all that celebrate.
Thank you.

I'd especially like to show some gratitude for the members of this community who rallied for us when things got tough in the spring, and rallied again after I was diagnosed with breast cancer and continued to share the passion for skiing, biking and everything we enjoy together. The outpouring of love and support has been unbelievable and appreciated.

When I see posts like @Don in Morrison who spent time in the ICU, I'm especially greatful for my own health and wonder how many more members have been personally touched by the pandemic this year. *heal well and heal strong Don* I'm thankful that you're out of ICU and on the mend.

I sincerely have so much gratitude filling my heart I feel like I'm not able to express it enough.

Looks good. That's a big All Clad skillet. 14"?
I didn't remember, so had to measure. Yep, 14".
I had to go to a restaurant supply store to get a big-enough lid. The guy who sold me the lid said, "you do know it isn't going to be as pretty as the pan, right?"

Looks like you are getting your money's worth with that skillet. :thumb:
Most folks have them for decorative purposes only. :duck::ogcool:

I was admiring the skillet, but also the yard stick.
That looks like a yardstick that was made before they became flimsy crap.

All Clad skillets are nice. Have a few myself. I usually travel with a 12" stainless steel skillet on our road trip.

That yard stick is a family heirloom past down through the generation. It was made before the advent of the metric system. :roflmao:

I have a 48 inch "yard" stick that was a promotion a looooong time ago from a company that said, "We're a measure above the rest"

*note the "yard" is in parenthesis
