It may be much more complicated (and eventful), but seems to me, that initial Augment statement of purpose - and follow through - goes a long way towards explaining how Marcel Hirscher would sync with that company's goals and practice, providing that, on a basic one on one level those Augment guys have been successful with the details of making and sorting out top skis.
Dang, he must have fit right in.
(Attention to detail during the final stages of a project, long past when everyone else is ready to call it done and go on to the next thing, or go out for a beer and dinner, can sometimes be crucial; and would seem to characterize both Marcel Hirscher and the folks at Augment Skis, at least in terms of their tech stuff. Though maybe marketing not so much, as yet. Room for improvement.
At least I'm hoping that is the case, particularly with Augment's "loose ends" here in the U.S. - with a seemingly rising number of people wanting their skis here, under whatever name, even if so expensive. And @skitalk ready to do its part!)
