Sometimes doing it yourself results in a good product.
Two of my favorite "made in Joe's Garage" tuning tools.

Heavy duty 3.3 degree side edge file guide.
Why 3.3 degrees?
Because when you then hone with a guide or multi tuner at 3 degrees the hone does most of its work on the cutting edge for extra sharpness.
No clamps that slip and wobble required.

Straight clamp for steel scraper.
A sharp steel scraper is your best friend for base high situations.
But, if you flex the scraper when scraping you can hollow or round the ski bottom.
A tuning master can use this effect for custom tunes but , in the hands of an average home tuner, a steel scraper is a disaster waiting to happen.
With a clamp to keep the blade from flexing you can flatten a ski much better than with files or a belt sander.

Ya, the ARP high tensile stainless aircraft bolts are overkill but hey are sooo pretty.
