We have a Stonewall system that works well for us but these showed up on FB feed. Look interesting. (Forgive if this is a duplicate;have not been flowing this thread for a while.)

Thinking about doing a DIY button method.
If I were to get a hole-saw for my drill-press to cut discs, what diameter is advised ?
If I use a quality plywood for my discs, is 3/4" a suitable thickness ?

I may cut off a small segment at the top the discs if it aids in a better fit with the toe pieces.

thanks - Andy

That sounds like a great idea. The size per amazon of the ski buttons are 3.5"D x 3.5"W x 3.5"H so I would guess 3.5 inches would be a good diameter.

You do know we can buy dimensional lumber/wood at your local Home Depot and simply cut it to suitable length.
1"x3" #2 or clear pine would be a good wood to used.
