Hmmm.....if you're offering to send some I'm game. It's not available at any of the Total Wine locations near me and they carry everything.

That's an old commercial, the guy is skiing on old straight skis and no helmet. I have had Hamm's years ago, (1968 the first time) it is originally from the Midwest. The commercial is better than the beer.

It's been a couple summers, but Hamms was 9 bucks for a 30 pack and I'd grab one for a cookout. Used about 20 of them for a couple tubs of primordial soup mixture with spicy mustard, beer, onions and brats. Low simmer on a grill for 1 hour at least, then slight brown on the racks and back to the soup. We'd drink the rest while they cooked. I'll say the flavor they gave the brats was much better than in the liquid form.

So.....I always go back to ski racing.

Fact. Former USST and WC SL star, National Champion and current WPST racer Michael Ankeny is a 4th generation Dartmouth grad.

The first generation, his great grandfather, was the CEO of Hamm's. Family business sold, I think, in the late 1960's.

5 degrees of ski racing separation........

Hah, my parents got photographed for a print ad for a local shop with a similar setup. Fireplace, standing around drinking after skiing. Probably mid 70’s.
