HI all glad to be a part of this community. Quick intro: Grew up in Seattle lapping chair 6 at Crystal and have now moved to Boston and am learning how to turn on a sheet of ice. Try to get west as often as possible to WA and BC, but end up having more days ripping sugarloaf or sunapee. Looking to get into some backcountry next year. If you have any East Coast tips or want to know anything about skiing the PNW and Crystal hit me up.

Welcome to the forum and the Ice coast- East coast skiing is EDGE-ucational to say the least. Try to ski with a light touch on ice and look for the snow to turn on.

The east is the best! You learn to have fun, no matter what the snow or weather is like
I have to say that the east makes it more difficult to learn how to ski with all the different conditions.
