Maybe Soelden rescheduled to Val d'Isere in early December? It could've gone to Hinterglemm as has in past, except this season, those are the Finals. And I don't think Alta Badia has ever added an extra GS.
there are already 2x GS scheduled for Alta Badia. No way they're adding a 3rd.

Schwarz was next level aggressive compared to everyone else. Odermatt, Pinterault and Kristoffersen all looked very smooth--go old guys! It was nice to see River Radamus putting it together; Brian McLaughlin also did well. Alexander Steen Olsen was quite impressive. It looked like Loic Meillard decided to ski with free-heel bindings....

He was using prototype bindings, if you look closely they don’t have a ‘dildo’ heel piece.

Thank you for the highlight, I didn't notice that he was on different bindings.

It seems the same switch to a "Marker" system like the Atomic guys have done.

First ever on this course? Did they finish the tram to the top?

Probably more like:
Clouds
Fog
Snow
Even if they are not on official startlist ;)

I was going to go for:

Batmobile
Herbie
Lightning McQueen

But hey, the weather isn't a bad option, either...

What are the chances this comes off?
Two years in a row of failure would be rough. Just the wrong time of year?

I think the whole thing is a fool's errand, to be honest. All of these early season events need to be rethought. And given the high elevation and the time of year it's... not good.

Shift the World Cup season to a December-April schedule and so many problems would be avoided. But so much of this scheduling revolves around both TV contracts and the manufacturers' schedules for new model intros so... well, it's not going to change unless some connected people make the move.

A new episode of The Next Turn podcast with Daniel Yule.

One of the most interesting quotes (starts around 16:00): "I like my ski boots quite soft. I feel like I can accelerate out of the ankle... I'm one of the guys who skis the softest boots [in Fischer race lineup]."
