One of those nights… Had the chance to drink some nice wine. A few rieslings first (Trimbacher worth of a mentioning) and then reds, Ojai Pinot från California was liked by me (not so much by others), a bit too much sweet berries on the nose but very pleasant taste. Then onto the best, Bourgognes . Two 2010 and 2019 Pommard. The Crand Cru was of course great but did not wow me as I would’ve expected it to. The Chambertain was better — something off with the Latricieres suspected, as it should be a head taller. Pommard super, 2019 can be enjoyed already. Also really nice vintage.

TBH it was eight, three rieslings, three bourgogne, the californian pinot and then a Tempranillo.

No kidding! I just opened a beautiful 2012 Barolo which is singing a beautiful opera. Freaking Italians. Can't they make this shit less expensive?
