When the network crosses the grounds of a "continuing care facility." It's not about the trail itself; it's about walkers who don't have the wherewithal to get out of the way without hurting themselves in the process. How often do you see this on an mtb trail network?! No hiking allowed, period
#oxymoronalertMy favorite climb anywhere is Tommy’s Two Step
I'm with Amy. Even considering the Covid 15. Climbing is cool.#oxymoronalert

Lake has cooled to a more than refreshing 65. Time to get back on the bike. Not a bad trailhead.

As the lake makes a turn, Wild Horse Pass cuts the corner through a tight and narrow canyon. Looking out the in.

I've been seeing an allergist for a few months in an attempt to get my allergies pinned down and manageable.Today I learned that this is not sage.
Even when I was a climber I didn’t like it. I’d just get it over with as soon as I could. Still do, but it takes longer.I'm with Amy. Even considering the Covid 15. Climbing is cool.
And this is why you and @Philpug don't get hurt when you ride with me. I'm timid, therefore you ride more timid.I finally got a foliage photo while on a ride with @Philpug. I got a little too close to the downhill edge of the trail and it gave out. The bike and I started to slide down. Somewhere along the way we parted company. I stopped, then the bike and I got reacquainted. Don't worry, the bike's OK. It landed on me. One drawback to e-bikes? They're very heavy. After taking stock I was able to disengage myself and walk back up the (steep) slope for the photo. By the time I stopped I was about 20-25' off and downhill from the trail. Good times!

A nice little spine gack. I didn't know this happened until after we got off the hill. Both legs and right arm have minor scrapes and scratches. The thump my left butt cheek took, though, is not going to feel good tomorrow! Live and hopefully learn!
I wasn't even doing anything remotely difficult at that instant. All the fun stuff was behind and ahead. And this is why you and @Philpug don't get hurt when you ride with me. I'm timid, therefore you ride more timid.
You're welcome!
