And the thought of "loaning" my $37 spare Tubolito to a somewhat stranger gave me pause. Weird and selfish feeling as I usually provide assistance whenever I can.
Selfish or not, I never offer my tube. I can offer one of two Co2 canisters that I carry with me, but one Co2 canister and tube stays for me, unless I'm in 5km radius from home. My flat tires are super rare, but when they happen, and if sealant won't do its job, I want to keep on riding not walking. So regardless of price of tube, tube stays with me.

I think I may have been the last person to post in the 2020 thread but I haven’t posted in this one. Looks like everyone is out getting some good rides again.
I have been extending the ski season as long as possible so most of my rides have been the shorter leave from home variety. I love the days where I can ski in the morning and ride in the afternoon.

Only one ride in Utah

Yesterday was kind of a valley tour with a couple of lower elevation climbs & fun descents

Last day in Moab.

Icebox Canyon overlook on the Slickrock Trail -- a spur that is seldom travelled.

Too hot for baggies today -- no judging!

You're probably stuck with an alternative brand -- Galfer, Kool Stop, Jagwire, etc. -- unless @Jersey Skier or somebody else can pull a rabbit out of a hat for you.

Thanks for the link, I'll take a look through it. Alternative brands is my back-up plan. But figured I'd try for a Hail Mary before devoting $23 for shipping for Galfer pads (and I'll probably do my rotors too, if I go that route). I'm going to try cleaning mine again too...probably full sand down and clean (I previously just soaked them and cleaned).

I'll take a look at Kool Stop and Jagwire too...Anyone have experience with them (or Galfer's)?

Not riding today, but visiting Tucson. I'm guessing AZ would be tough on tires.

I thought part compatibility was bad in the old days. This works great as long as the parts chain works. Otherwise, Yeesh.

We were getting a little dry....and two days of rain comes our way. Trails should be amazing by Tuesday, Wednesday for sure.

In other news, I sold the Top Fuel. Liked it a lot, but never quite loved it like my Fuel EX.

Supercaliber coming my way!
