Cue @Philpug "I ski alone... YA with nobody else.."
I ski alone, yeah
With nobody else
I ski alone, yeah
With nobody else
Yeah, you know when I ski alone
I prefer to be by myself
Now every morning just before first chair
I don't want no PBR or weed
Just me and my good friend Dale Bello
That's all I ever need
'Cause I ski alone, yeah
With nobody else
Yeah, you know when I ski alone
I prefer to be by myself
Yeah, the other night I tomahawked
And I woke from the crash
So I caught up my pal Ross Ingle
And his partner Dean A. Star
And we skied alone, yeah
With nobody else
Yeah, you know when I ski alone
I prefer to be by myself
Yeah, the other day I got invited to Aprés
But I stayed home instead
Just me and my pal Stu Clee
And his brothers Storm and Laser
And we skied alone, yeah
With nobody else
Yeah, you know when I ski alone
I prefer to be by myself
Yeah my whole posse done give up on me
And it makes me feel oh so bad
The only one who will hike with me
Is my dear old Tele’Mark
And we ski alone, yeah
With nobody else
Yeah, you know when I ski alone
I prefer to be by myself
Yeah, you know when I ski alone
I prefer to be by myself
.
.
.
I ski alone

I ski with music in my helmet most of the time so plenty of music reminds me of skiing. Everything from Joe Bonamassa to Bob Seger to Pentatonix. One season, though, my daughters wanted me to play Kid Rock's All Summer Long on a constant loop driving up to the mountain. It's now a tradition to crank it up in the car during our first ski day of the year.

I can see I'm quite the outlier here. I love the silence when it snows. I love a quiet trail surrounded by evergreens, and the sounds of my skis through the snow. Doesn't get any better.

It's more like music you're listening to that fits with context

Hype up
Run to the Hills - Iron Maiden
Summon the Fire - The Comet is Coming

Pretend you're James Bond
OHMSS - Propellerheads
Ride of the Valkryies

Soft spring bumps
Sexual healing - Marvin Gaye

General joyous sking
Hot 8 Brass Band

60 seconds til lift closes and you need to hit it to get back
New Rose - The Damned
MF from Hell - The Datsuns

Last cruisey run of a good day
One day like this -Elbow

Rest of the time - classic soul, funk, hip-hop, punk, some classic rock (Zep, Spirit of Radio or Jukebox Hero good, prog rock dirges not so much), indie, baroque (can't beat a bit of the GOAT JSB!)

Oh yeah and for some reason Single Ladies - Beyonce courtesy of a young French girl who regaled her family and us once in a gondi with a beat and word perfect version.

You are not alone at all. That is the best. Especially in the trees. But this wasn't music to ski to, but ratjer music that reminds you of skiing.

It's funny you say that because skiing is one of the only times I don't have music playing. I will get certain tunes in my head though a few of which have already been mentioned here.
Music that reminds me of skiing would be Grateful Dead, Reggae/Dancehall, some hip hop, a few songs mentioned above and the '90s Grunge that was always played at my Brother's mogul comps.

I only listen to music while skiing on or near Christmas when I like to rock out to dub step remakes of classic Christmas songs.

Rush. From many hours on my Walkman at Mary Jane, and in the cassette deck on the way to and from.

Later in life I got in the habit of playing Yes “Roundabout” while going over Loveland Pass.
