I remember as a teen someone had a homemade chopper from a stingray style bicycle (banna seat and all), which amount to a set of forks separated from the crown and stuffed into the ends of the existing forks... man I wanted that!

It looks like a quarter in 25 seconds is doable with a trap speed around 30.

We did this as kids, a few times with other forks, but mostly with short sections of electrical conduit.

They bent, and even fell off once, during a wheelie.

And handled poorly.

We quickly moved on to new, equally ridiculous, youthful follies!
