We know the saying "Happy Wife, Happy Life" and it has gotten me through 40+ years of marriage. Recently I saw someone post on FB a different version of the saying. "Happy Spouse, Happy House" and it had a comment about both people in a marriage have to contribute to be happy not just one giving in to the other all the time.

You can't go back and change the beginning, but you can start where you are and change the ending.

You will be wise to love everyone, not condemn those who don't agree with you.

Your opinions are just that, - opinions, regardless of where you got them from. They are tiny, a speck compared to the immensity around you. You cannot possibly have even the faintest idea of what influences other people. Your only possible intelligent choice is to continuously be open in love and acceptance. Today more than yesterday.

Yeah, so you're saying the author was not here long enough us to know who he was? He no doubt enjoyed himself, albeit briefly.

Got this from a friend

SILENT LISTEN

These two words have the same letters just rearranged. These two words have more meaning to me this year than Merry Christmas or happy holidays.

SILENT: Go to the quiet. You're quiet. Seek out nature. Sit by moving water. Turn off the lights and enjoy fire. Find a clock ticks and just sit. Rest in your car during a heavy rain, with the beats of raindrops on the roof. Heal yourself.

LISTEN: Listen with your heart. Hear the message beyond the noise. Hear the pain and loss. Absorb the anger and frustration expressed. Listen to the souls and to your angels. Heal others.

Peace within and without.

No matter how far in the wrong direction you go,
You can always turn around.

"A fool who knows he is a fool, is wise at least so far. But a fool who imagines himself wise is a fool indeed."
