2. Palisades Tahoe--replacement lift, Red Dog
3. Palisades Tahoe--new, base to base gondola
4. Northstar--replacement, Comstock

Winter Park didn't really refurbish but changed the name of a lift from Eskimo to Explorer!)))

The word Eskimo is no longer acceptable in the opinion of many as way to label people, could even say it's demeaning. Pretty sure at Winter Park it was a way to remember and honor the ski club that operated at WP for many years, decades, and taught thousands of Denve area kids to ski. Suppose it's best to get rid of it though I'm sorry it had to go.

Whistler has announced that Big Red and Creekside will not be ready for opening day due to supply-chain and shipping issues. Estimated opening for BR is early December and no estimate on the gondola. Hopefully they'll have the gondola ready before Christmas or they're looking at nightmare holiday season without the upload capacity and parking at Creekside.

I believe Baker was working over the summer to electrify lifts 4, 5, and maybe 6. Might be a bit faster, certainly less noise and fumes around Raven Hut. I’m sure the motivating factor is to lower fuel expenses, though they still have to generate all their own power.
