Ok my long time ski buddy who is a lot older than me asked me if I knew of any differences between the '21-22 Nordica speed machine and the '22-23 as he is in the market for new boots . He is not what you would call "computer literate " has a flip phone so I get to do his research for everything pretty much and when I started looking into it I found there is no definitive answer I mean they look identical but is there anything as far as fit etc that is different I keep reading that the '21-22 fits on the narrower side ..any insight is greatly appreciated

Speedmachine is a great set of boots. I see them quite a bit here in Japan.

Properly fitted, there won't be any drastic differences. To the fitter, one may require more work than the other to fit a customer (ie, the old toe-box was narrow and will need punching but newer maybe be fine as is). But the end product should feel very similar to the individual. The goal and customer the boot is aimed for has not changed.
