Just wondering if anyone else had issues with special requests from Ski Essentials. I bought two pair of skis over the weekend since they’re having their fall discount, and I asked for them to base grind the skis for me before sending them out. I assumed they were set up to do normal ski shop stuff since they advertise adding bindings as well. They refused to do that, but I guess I can’t complain with the discount. It’s just inconvenient for me because I’ll have to drop them off for a base grind and pick them up later, two 1 hour round trips. I realize I'm probably just the odd duck, but this had me wondering if anyone else has gotten them to do anything extra (say tuning or a fresh wax) to new skis prior to shipping.
