Of a bit of interest possibly for the gathering if you have no pass. (if still available)

4 day pass package good any day, 1 per day. Claims to be 50% off -not quite true but somewhat close.
kid, adult & senior versions available.

Yeah, by about $42.

I can only guess that Ikon will stop sales at some point (seems like early December, from a quick search), and Palisades 4-packs will still be available?

A 4 day pass at $149 per day or $600 total, when my senior Tahoe Value Pass is only $425 for the whole season, won't happen. Since walk up lift ticket prices have not yet been set and won't until enough snow has accumulated, a single day 25% off buddy ticket, is about as much as this economic peon is likely to even consider.

Maybe they haven't been set officially... but it sure looks like they at least have a minimum on the website by stating how much you're saving by buying online.

For instance, for a one day ticket on Saturday, January 27th, the price is $237, and it says "Save $42!"

That implies a walk-up price of $279. (I suppose that could be what you save compared to buying-online sometime in the future, in which case the walk-up price would be even higher... but I'm betting it will be $279.)

If you really want wackiness, if those are the walk-up costs on the website, it would cost $1594 to ski all 6 days at the Gathering if you just stayed at Palisades and bought walk-up tickets.

yep.I had that Vail Senor Tahoe value pass last year- great deal, but due to several annoyances I did not renew.:

Ending season early.
Stupidly trying to run Heavenly from Gondola only the last 2 weeks. I think with wind & weather they only operated 1 day in the last 10 days.

For anyone who is interested ... Rose is having a Black Friday sale. Lift tickets are $99 with no need to reserve a specific date. The usual blackout dates apply.
Thanks... a couple of quick related notes...

1) Regular price is $129, so this is $30 off.
2) You have to click on the "Black Friday Deals" page from the main Mount Rose page to get the deal. (https://secure.skirose.com/store/ItemList.aspx?node_id=1870643&hdr=1) Going straight to their lift ticket sales page will give you the full price.

True. And with the twofer, it's cheaper. It's cheaper with buddy passes also. We can get anyone $40 off.
Think I understand, but to be clear... Twofer is 129/2 -- I'm guessing that may up after they sell all the 28% OFF tix? And 129-40 is cheap (with same caveat on 28%)

I can’t swear to their pricing but, as I recall, $129 is their usual weekday price. But, it’s possible the window ticket price is higher. The buddy tickets would be $40 off window price. The biggest advantage to the $99 tix is that they are good non holiday weekends. I picked up a couple for my son and DIL.

I just reviewed my notes from Diva West in 2022. The window ticket price was $155 on twofer Tuesday so the $99 is a better deal than a buddy pass. Even better will be finding a buddy and buying the twofer in advance.

S'pose they'd actually it? (not that I'm inclined)
