What about rolling in the snow?
I did the hot tub then roll in the snow thing exactly once to have the authentic experience. (Well, almost authentic ... it should be a dry sauna.) I don't see the need to repeat.

I did go in the river for a cold post-hot-pool plunge at Pagosa Springs, so I guess I needed to do it twice. Never again, though...

Did the Pagosa Springs river dip too. The chunks of ice floating down the river should make it clear it’s not a great idea. There was a guy in there for quite awhile just swimming around like it was nothing when I was there. I lasted a few minutes at most.

I did the hot tub / snow roll at the old Jay Peak hotel way back in the day. Twice was enough.

Folks started rolling in the hay way way way back when. It was good. They liked it.
Someone had the bright idea to make it a four season thing.
So they tried rolling in the snow. Let's just say things didn't quite measured up. They did proved Subway was right though.

I've been reviewing threads of previous gatherings to gather intel for my big trip this season. It's fun looking at the photos and putting names with faces - challenging because there are screen names and real names, and there are faces and there are faces covered by ski wear.
Which brings me to my question: Does anyone actually know what @theNitza looks like?

You're probably not going to believe this, because I don't seem to have photographic proof... but I've actually seen him without a facemask or goggles on!
