^^^These are sunset shots I presume. I definitely prefer sunsets, much easier to get to good spots for viewing and relaxation. Sailing back into Newport Bay, CA at sunset back in September.

Its pretty rare that I get to watch the sunrise, usually I am on my way heading somewhere or fast a sleep.

But when I do get to watch the sunrise its pretty special.

Our house is positioned so we can see bits of sunrise more than sunset.
I would love it if I could see both spectacles of nature but most of us are not that fortunate so I take sunrise as my spectacle of nature.

Love @Turoa Kiwi 's shot of the Portuguese bird at sunrise!

I have more chances to see sunsets so that's what I voted for.
One of my favorite sunset photos from Sep 2021. This is from Swansboro, NC. My brother had a beach house we visited for many years near there. Great family memories. He sold it that month and this shot is symbolic of the closing of that chapter in life.

I am in the camp of really enjoying both.
From my Utah home I get some great sunrises just by stepping out my front door…
