Well it is March 14th again so happy Pi Day. I would have posted earlier but I was out skiing today. Also we should not forget who's birthday it is today.

This was a good day to pull out the chicken pot pie recipe again.

We're big on Pi Day at work. The homemade tiramisu pie was the big winner.

I enjoyed a savory mushroom and ale pie from www.tiptopsavorypies.com last night. They sell them either hot or frozen and then reheat at home. The first time I reheated at home I was leery that it would reheat well but I was happily surprised and the pastry was amazing. It turns out the pastry chef trained under Jaques Pepin. Yes, good job, your pie looks good. What flavor is the filling? I will guess cherry due to previous post's.
