Yes, near Chisenupuri. About ~25 days of skinning and exploring that general area w/ Niisan were among my best days ever, very zen, no objective, few words, just skiing the best pow.

Love touring around that peak and vicinity! :)

November 8th, SoCal. . And one from the next day, very rare to have skiable depth snow and peak color.

Lifts are still closed, but we got some 40cm fresh powder yesterday. As it was "slightly" windy (up to 80km/h on top) it took a bit of knowledge where to go from top to enjoy that fresh pow :) I found it, but it was too much fun to bother taking photos there, so only photos from skintrack :D

I don't remember when I went up for last time in jacket and on top of that with all vents closed, yet I wasn't sweating :D

Beautiful day near Alta today. Blue sky, colder temps, an inch of fresh today. I skinned up Summer Rd to Catherine's Pass Trail. Found a little untracked for some soft turns. My first real backcountry skiing! I'm hooked! Really enjoyed the aspect of seeing some untracked, planning a route up and then skiing it. Prior to this I was just trying to get in shape. Now, I am beginning to feel I could skin 5-10 miles and 3-4 thousand vertical feet in a day,

View was spectacular too.
Rock slides are 99% covered up now. This view is from Patsy Marley/Catherine's Pass Trail area just outside of Alta boundary.

Another 30cm of fresh powder during night, with 40 yesterday, and 1.2m three days ago. Add some wind and you get pretty tricky conditions in backcountry. But with some knowledge, few snow tests on way up, and with whole bunch of work making track in that anow (photo is from loop #2 where some 30 people already used our skintrack :D), we got awesome few days in amazing snow. No matter how this sounds, but I'm starting to like this corona shit.... I don't remember when I was skiing this much for last time, even if it's only xc and touring and no lifts. :D

We have just enough snow in the woods to skin up, especially on packed hiking trails. So my girls and I did 2 laps, skinning up through the woods, some bushwhacking, some mtb or hiking trail, and down the groomer at Spirit Mtn.
