That top bit is NOT a Pozidrive.

Leave it to Apple to use their own proprietary case screws on all phones starting with the iPhone 4. They are almost microscopic like size 000 with 5 slots and are impossible to remove without a Pentalobe screwdriver. Also a magnifying glass is helpful.
I guess you don't remember the GM car headlight screws of the 1980s.. But you could eventually buy the weird screwdrivers at auto parts stores ...

No, I've never owned GM. Only Ford, VW and Toyota over the last 45 years. That was pretty lame since headlights are a pretty regular replacement part. I know lots of makers do that sort of thing to keep prying hands out (sometimes for actual safety reasons) and build up service revenue.

I don't do my own plumbing anymore either.. Get back to me when you're 60. YMMV, but mine's been kinda rough lately..
Try 75 here ! LOL still do all my own plumbing work. Do a lot of car work including all brake work.

Last week I installed the catalytic converter shield on my Prius. A half day pita with a $150 cover. Trish had a dealer do it for $500 on her Prius.
Too many Prius cars are getting the cat's sawed off in our area.

I do more when I'm not working full time lots more. But when I'm earning good money I'd rather pay good money for more free time. If I have too much free time and less spending money, give me the projets LOL!

At least in NY any shop that sells oil retail needs to accept used oil for disposal. OTOH 4quarts of 10w30 into a 250 gallon tank of no 2 heating oil should be just fine.

Yes, 4qts in a 250 tank is not a problem but I heat my home with natural gas not home heating oil.

Does that include extra oil or just the first 5qts and extra qts are more because I bet the SKITALK vehicle is close to 7 qts of oil.
This was up to 8 qt. the 5 qt. price was less.

Argh! You’re right! You caught me not paying attention/being lazy. I was responding to @James query about a pozidrive to carry and when I went into one kit I found the ratcheting handle and little container of bits on the lower left of the picture. I used that for patrolling (carried in my vest) and thought that wasn’t actually easy to carry, so I just grabbed that Scarpa tool figuring it’d work because, hey, Scarpa.

So, now that you caught me, I went into my backcountry carry kit and got out the tool and bits that are on the lower right. But looking harder I found that G3 thing on the upper left which is an eminently carryable PZ drive, and that weird little tool on the upper right that I didn’t remember having. If @James wants that weird little tool on the upper right, let me know and I’ll send it.

It's not natural gas anymore. It's "fossil gas" or "fracked gas." The Eco-puritans have turned against natural gas and they're changing the brand . Replacing oil with natural gas was once considered a way to achieve clean air and carbon reduction goals but it all turned around about 8 years ago. I went from being an effective environmentalist to being SATAN overnight.

Here's my car sitting at the highest recommended local shop. Took it there a week ago today. They said it took awhile to get the parts. Another shop had also told me parts supply issues were a real thing with the knuckles and dust caps behind the hub and bearing assemblies. They really didn't want to touch this job so I had to shop around some to find someone else to do it.
I called Thursday and they said they had the parts and would start on it Friday, thinking it would be ready today. Well, it sat untouched in this spot all day .. My poor car.... nobody wants to fix me booo hooo.. sad trombone...

I'll call them Wednesday if it's still sitting there like this..

^ That was involved in a crime?
I guess that's how one sees these things when they live in a crime ridden society.
