It's coming in soon Tricia! The nights are cold and snow guns are putting down the base. I have some new stuff to test out
You have my attention, please report back. We have been extremely inpressed with the Lusti PC's and the CWR's.

I got involved with Lusti quite a number of years ago when our 'connection' to Kneissl disappeared due to the 08 financial meltdown. My friend Mike approached me about trying out a new ski line he was working on bringing over to the US to replace Kneissl. I was a huge fan of the White Star line up which was the top of the heap from Kneissl, especially when coupled to some high horsepower VIST race plates made of very thick polymer materials.
Mike got me on a pair of SCT cross race type 'cheater' 18 meter skis to use in a beer league race series which sported a few very high quality master's racers and college racers. I was blown away at the performance of the SCT's. I then got on the SCT Wide, 77 underfoot all mountain ski for softer snow days and loved it too. Next came the Lusti FR Slalom FIS 165's with a polymer speed lock VIST plate; again WOW, these are better than my White Star SL. FIS skis. Finally I got in a new pair of FIS 165 Lusti SL race skis with the VIST aluminum speed lock plate coupled to my VIST 614 Elite bindings; now you're talking!
I was always a slalom specialist, never great at GS, so my go to ski is a rock solid 165 cm, 65 underfoot super tortional stiff ski. The Lusti FIS slaloms are the best ski I have ever put on. I am anxious to try out the RC GS 175 cheaters with VIST speedlock 614 bindings. The plate is polymer, not aluminum, but it will give me the overall flavor of what this ski is about. If it proves to be what I think it will be, I'd like to see if they would build this in the FIS build, which is heavier titanal plates top and bottom. And then have the aluminum plate installed.
I will report back if we ever get any snow out here! It's still like spring and we are in December.

The only Lusti skis I've seen in the wild were at Loon NH FWIW................

What are your mountains?
I used to be a regular up at Loon, but I tried Gunstock out on the suggestion of my ski partner Pete who said it would save us an hour of drive time (me) and for Pete it's only 20 minutes. I was sold; what nice hill and we have a blast on snow that has yet to disappoint.
Speaking of Gunstock; I hit the mountain yesterday with my buddy Peter and the snow was just amazing. The air was a crisp 15 degrees, full blue sky, not a cloud to be seen in any direction and those views over Lake Winnipesaukee with Mt. Washington to the north.... wow. Perfectly groomed packed powder! We are heading back up tomorrow and I will potentially try out a new pair of the Lusti cheater GS 18.1 meter skis with VIST Plates.

26 inches of new snow in the past few days at Gunstock.... Today was rough. Sunny sky with the view over the lake and snow which reminded me of Vail
It looks like deep cold mid-winter now. Amazing snow! As good as it gets matter of fact and tomorrow should be a good day with sub zero temperatures, but full sun.
Add one more new Lusti skier on Gunstock A super guy who is a super skier just bought the PC71 in 170 cm this week and migrated over. He's in a state of personal heaven We had a blast earlier in the week doing laps on the steeps.
I may have to finally break out the cheater GS 18 meter skis tomorrow to test as it's ideal snow for high speed cruising.

175cm 18.1 meter GS ski with VIST speed lock bindings.... yikes, what a ski! I may have a new go-to for the balance of winter...... did 2.5 hours with a lot of laps on very hard packed powder at something like -30 degrees with the wind on Friday. Absolutely perfect skiing!
I too am a Gunstock advocate. If you don't need the death defying thrills of dropping down a lift line that's so steep a goat would think twice about descending, its a wonderful experience. For a groomer skier that loves to carve, it doesn't get much better than that place.

Speaking of perfect for carving groomed snow, today was another top notch day to be on the hill. Tight rolled down snow with a light overnight cool set which warmed up into the low 40's in the morning with some filtered sun. The snow softened up into cheese cake icing for some high speed carving at any radius you like. What a perfect day. I was out with Pete and we skied on Lusti FIS slaloms, 165 cm. I expect tomorrow to be another good day only it will be warmer and more junked up.
