So I've picked up another set of Protector 13 bindings. I can Mount them on either my BC Divus or BC Camox.

I plan to use my Head Shape e-V8 for as much as possible--they are very fun to use.

When early winter conditions (or even into the winter) create the crud (piles and wet soft snow) and the Head Shape e-V8s are becoming labor intensive, hooky, and less stable in crud, would it better to have the Divus or Camox on hand to make the rest of the day more playful/fun/relaxing. (Divus 182, Camox 186)

Or is the answer to just stay on the E-V8s and push through it. The issue I have with this option is:
1. Its usually the afternoon by this time and my muscles are not fresh
2. It's nice to close out the day just zooming around ans having a little more fun.
3. 182 and 186 are probably more stable than the shorter Heads? This is just a guess.

If your V8s are getting deflected in piles of crud and you wish to push through the crud, there's no point to bringing extra width and surface area.

The Divus will be just fine for making turns in between piles (plenty of torsional stiffness and not enormous nominal radius), or on top of them.

If the piles and wet snow freeze up at end of day, you have a ski that will hold edge underfoot. Again, no point in having extra width and surface area.

Ok makes sense.

What conditions aside from fresh snow, in your opinion, would the Camox be better than divus.

In my view post snow storm, or during snow storms, after its been skid up or in the process of being skiid up. I hit this at Stowe. Or do you think Divus would still be better in those conditions?

Not for my size or the way I ski. Can't speak to yours but suspect not.
