Best shorts recommendation?

Assos. Closely followed by Castelli and some of the Rapha stuff. In fact most often I reach for Rapha, especially the Cargo shorts and bibs, just because of the pockets. But the pads in Assos are simply a cut above, especially the new models.
Etxeondo are also very good.

IMHO and based on my own experience-I almost never ride under 2 hours and under 60 km.

I'm curious, @Nancy Hummel, which shorts you've ended up liking best?

I ended up spending more than I've ever spent on bibs on a pair Velocio Concept bibs. They are so amazing I actually ordered a second pair, and I don't usually spend that much on bike apparel. Velocio seems like a good company too.
