This type of stuff is very common at shops here in NEPA.....the crap I have seen and I have installed the past 10 years is very eye opening/entertaining/frustrating to say the least. I do end up having to make a lot of phone calls from the back shop to try to clarify/decline their requests for trying to "revive" gear from the 70's/80's.....

By the amount of business the shop does in a season/ people really do love to get out and ski here in NEPA, but the majority of them could care less how old/how used/what condition their gear is in......Our areas are crowded with all types of skiers, and they come back year after year.....so they are having fun no matter what their equipment looks like.

My kid’s skis are 104cm and come mounted with a Look binding that adjusts up to 305mm. !!!!

Should they not make a kid’s binding with less adjustment and less weight?

At least it gives me the opportunity to take these out for some test runs

As the swap was ending, this guy was checking out a pair of skis to make sure his own boots would fit the bindings. He was struggling. Phil showed him how to click in with one boot and he proceeded to struggle to get the other boot in the bindings. He then picked the skis up, by putting his hands inside his boots and picking them up to head to the cash register. I laughed...
Some of the interesting ski swap finds are the people.

BOTH! boots are in the bindings facing the correct direction. This is an excellent first step!
