My actual 70th B-day was Orthodox Easter this year, celebrated in Tiblisi.
I looked for rental ski options in town with the idea of convincing my bride to humor a trip to the slopes, but they all closed the week before despite snow everywhere in the mountains.
A week later, in Armenia, at least i got to walk on some.
Armenia's only resort was closed as well.
Mt Aragat in the background - road was closed, abandoned trip with summer tires on 2wd vehicle.
Wife is already desperate to go back to Armenia.
Naturally i suggested Georgia - next winter.....
