It's cloudy here but I did see a flash of something looking up and east when they said it was "off the coast of North Carolina". probably just a jet circling RDU though, wasn't nearly bright enough to be that.

Thanks for the heads up on this. We all gathered in the living room and watched it together. Daughter doesn't realize these things blow up sometimes and everybody dies. Still surreal watching these after Challenger and Columbia knowing it really can go real bad real fast...
