I just don't see the point. Without decoupling the wieht of the bikes as well the gains are somewhat limited. Really dialing in tires, and tire presure for a given substrate would probably result in better ROI.

Dunno if someone noticed but part of the top tube is missing.
This looks like Luke Skywalker’s bike after it met Dart Vader’s bike in Cloud City.

Seriously-just give us some wide tires at low pressure, that does the trick nicely.

At least they are insanely expensive.

S-Works $14,000!

And nine -- count them -- seat tubes to choose from, to tailor flex.

I kind of respect them for going all in on an engineering concept, business tradeoffs be damned.

Second point of respect for keeping prior Diverge geo and not reverting into crit bikes.

Did you see the Slingshot in the URT link?

I had a chance to ride a TT version of one just the other week. Smooth as glass- so long as you didn't twitch your shoulders.

I used to race for Slingshot in my teenage years when MTB was my jam in Utah.

They climbed like crazy, fun on flowy, twisty singletrack. Absorbed washboards very well - low fatigue factor.

And on DH unless you had a good shock fork they were truly terrifying.

How often did you have to replace that fiberglass piece in the top tube? We know FG has a longer fatigue life than CF but MTB on that could add up to a lot of cycles.

Not once over a 4 year span riding an average of 150 days per year.
